Meet Pastor Bo Kilgore.
Bo Kilgore serves as the Lead Pastor of Life Church with a passion to see people discover the abundant, Spirit-filled life God offers. A former Marine, Bo brings strategic insight, disciplined leadership, and a deep commitment to biblical truth. His preaching is marked by clarity, conviction, and Spirit-empowered boldness that calls believers to live lives of purpose, holiness, and mission.
A fourth-generation Pentecostal minister, Bo stands firmly in a legacy of Spirit-filled ministry while casting a bold, forward-thinking vision for the next generation. He is an ordained minister with Destiny Ministries, a graduate of Destiny Leadership Institute, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership. He is currently completing his Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership through Southeastern University.
Rooted in his Pentecostal heritage and shaped by years of ministry experience, Bo leads Life Church with a shepherd’s heart and a soldier’s resolve. His vision is to build a church that glorifies Jesus, equips believers to build the Kingdom of God, and stands firm in a culture that desperately needs truth and hope.
Bo and his wife, Lauren, are proud parents to three amazing children—Scarlett, Imogene, and Ira. Together, they are committed to building the Church, raising up the next generation, and living out the abundant life found in Christ.

Meet Bishop Jim Kilgore.
Bishop Jim Kilgore faithfully served as the Lead Pastor of Life Church from 2000 to 2025, when he transitioned into the role of Bishop. A spiritual father to many and a shepherd to all, Bishop Jim continues to provide wisdom, oversight, and spiritual covering to the Life Church family. His ministry is marked by faithfulness to God’s call, deep compassion for people, and a global vision rooted in the Great Commission.
A third-generation Pentecostal minister, Bishop Jim returned to co-pastor alongside his father in 1996 before being elected senior pastor in 2000. Prior to that, he pastored Life Tabernacle Southwest in Houston for six years. His academic journey took him through colleges in Houston and Mississippi before he fully embraced full-time ministry.
Bishop Jim is known for his powerful preaching, relational leadership, and unwavering passion for the lost. Under his leadership, Life Church became a vibrant, multi-site congregation committed to reaching the Southbelt community and the nations. His heart for global missions was deeply stirred during his travels to the Philippines, where the sight of abandoned children led to the founding of Ima’s Home for Children. Opened in 2013, Ima’s Home provides shelter, education, care, and hope to orphaned and vulnerable children in Manila.
He and his wife, Nancy, have been faithfully married for over 30 years. Their legacy continues through their children and grandchildren: Bo & Lauren, with Scarlett, Imogene, and Ira; Benjamen & Megan, with their son Thomas; and JoElla & Trey Luper.
Bishop Jim remains a guiding voice in the Life Church community, modeling what it means to live a life of obedience, sacrifice, and enduring love for Jesus.

Jim is a caring shepherd, and Nancy has led worship since childhood. Together, they share a special love for underprivileged children in the Philippines, where they founded an orphanage called “Ima’s Home.”

Executive Pastor of Missions
Tito, a graduate of Destiny Leadership Institute, found Jesus through a barbershop Bible study led by Bishop Jim Kilgore. He and his wife, Samantha, have two wonderful children, Tito “IV” and Samara.
Nick & Kendra Sauceda
League City Campus Pastors
Nick and Kendra are graduates of Destiny Leadership Institute. They share a deep passion for Jesus and the local church, and love serving together as a family. They have two beautiful girls, Nora and Eleanor.
Benjamen Kilgore
Student Pastor & Teaching Pastor
Benjamen is a graduate of Highlands College, currently pursuing his M.Div. at Houston Christian University, and loves doing life with his wife, Megan, and their son, Thomas.

Mike and Jean have an unmatched passion for people. Married nearly 50 years, they have faithfully served generations in the church, and are blessed with three children and two wonderful granddaughters.
